After only 8 months as an official team, Team Mizara has achieved their first big milestone (of many) in their career, after winning the Dockweiler Beach Volleyball Open in Los Angeles County last weekend. In scorching 35 degree weather, we played some solid beach volleyball, winning all of our 7 matches that day. The highlight of the tournament was definitely beating the Polish National Team in the semi finals, by keeping a 2 point lead the whole match.

We really felt in control, and carried this momentum into the final match which we won by more than 10 points. Liz and I would like to thank our cheering section - MJ, Nat & Kris who braved the heat along with us, and cheered us on to victory.   We'd also like to thank our superstar Coach Cam Green, who actually thought 'eh' was spelled 'A'- heehee.  Keep checking back for more updates.
